At the bare minumim, it is recommended to run at LEAST the stock fuel pressure regulator.I will be coming out with some schematics that will show a few different variations on how to plumb parallel and series systems using stock and aftermarket components. 300Degrees "Z-Lab" currenty is using stock OEM fuel pressure regulator and I believe stock OEM dampner. These schematics will be a generalization, but it will give you an idea of different ways to approach your installation based on budget. To really achieve maximum performance from your fuel system, an adjustable fuel pressure regulator is recommended.
